MoGIA Education Foundation

The MoGIA Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization consisting of a Board of Directors charged with the responsibility of managing the scholarship programs of the Missouri Green Industry Alliance.  The Board solicits student scholarship applicants, reviews application submissions and the voting members of the Board select the scholarship finalists each calendar year.

The Foundation currently manages the following scholarship programs:

MoGIA Academic Scholarship

A scholarship for students enrolled in a Missouri 2 year community college or 4 year university with a horticulture degree emphasis and exhibiting a committed career goal of pursuing professional employment in the green industry upon graduation.

Lobenstein Academic Scholarships

A scholarship for students enrolled at the University of Missouri Columbia who exhibit a committed career goal of pursuing professional employment in the green industry upon graduation. This scholarship programs offers two scholarships: the first for students with an emphasis of study in Turfgrass Science; and a second for students with an emphasis of study in Horticultural Science and Design.
